Driver Development - Enthusiast

In SNT’s enthusiast development programs, drivers receive intense one on one coaching structured to get the student to the next level.  Our approach is focused on understanding each drivers ability and personal goals.

Driver development is an ongoing focus for the driver wishing to better their performances at any level. SNT can establish highly customized-long term programs that specialize in all aspects of extreme car control. Car control is a critical element in becoming a standout driver. Most drivers never truly get the chance to learn all about front wheel skids, rear wheel skids, forward 180's, reverse 180's, forward 360's, 180 in 180 outs. The ability to practice these and to experiment on a closed course helps develop incredible feel, and control at a level even elite drivers do not often reach.

There is a specific focus on car control and maintaining consistent speed. The amateur driver will work on critical fundamentals:

● Ground School - Line Theory, Vehicle Dynamics, Weight Transfer, Passing, Flags, Positioning, Pedals, Braking, Shifting, & Steering.
● Demo Laps Session
● Right Seat Coaching Sessions
● Lead Follow Sessions
● Open lapping

Simulator coaching & Shifter Kart training also available in driver development programs. SNT will always have professional race car drivers that have both raced at the top level of the sport and instructed at the worlds most recognized schools. SNT Motorsports offers driver coaching that guides you through a high energy, yet low pressure race car and high end street car track experience.

Team owner Steve Tarply recognized the importance of professional training a few years ago & began working with Dave on his own driver deveopment program. Steve now holds his Pirelli Cup, S.C.C.A. and N.A.S.A. Pro racing licenses.
